Not like the picture - tools and equipment

They fit well, easily installed. The biggest problem was that the product that was delivered was not black like in the photo, but silver. Not sure if there are two versions and just sent the wrong item but didn't see a silver finish for sale. The guide ring seems a little soft so write down how it holds up on braided line so I'll check it out in a few months.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember

Quick and Easy - Tire and Wheel Tools

I'm not a fan of the glue method used for this purpose but it works, it's just messy. The diameter of the guide noses is also the same and most bass rods today have much smaller guides at the end, making them look very bulky. But. Options are limited so I have to recommend them for the price and quality and give them a 5 star rating!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Problems

Works well with patience

Worked great the second time around. You just have to be patient and melt the glue properly. Use lots of glue and stick it on quickly so that the glue doesn't cool too quickly before sticking. I waited a long time the first time. A little twist and it happened instantly. I was more patient, the second time I heated the glue more. Apply more glue and put on the tip of the rod faster. Solid for the second time. Good product

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Clarity

Need larger sizes at Tire & Wheel Tools

works fine but only the largest could be used, the two smaller ones are for tiny bars and like most advertised tips too small for normal use I was, I can fix a rod which is a small light weight rod but have no idea what rods will fit the smallest two none of which are mine, be sure to measure carefully before ordering this kit or any of the ones advertised on Revain . as 90% is too small for anything but the first baby rod to be used in a duck pond.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Secret product

Original equipment manufacturer, high-quality connecting rod repair kit!

Fishing for snapper off the Florida coast last week I broke the top line guide on my favorite rod. I found this Fugi repair kit at Revain and decided to give it a try. It worked amazingly and was a lot easier to install than I initially thought. My wand looks and works the same as before. The Fuji repair kit includes three interchangeable guide rods of different sizes and glue to attach them. Fuji is known for its high quality linear guides and they are no exception.

Pros
  • Tire Repair Kits
Cons
  • Slightly Snapped

Works great and easy to use.

Easy to use and understand. Simply carefully cut off the broken rod tip with a razor blade or a small pipe cutter, roughen the rod tip with light emery, heat the glue with a lighter and attach the correct rod tip. Quick Tip: Dry the tip BEFORE gluing, work quickly after applying the hot glue and make sure the tip lines up with the other guides before the glue cools. (If not built in, use a high power hair dryer to heat the tip and re-stick instead of using a lighter and firing a new tip). All…

Pros
  • Tire and wheel tools
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Not really worth it

Well the glue in that bag was basically hot glue sticks. If I had known, I would have just bought a custom repair guide as I have loads of glue sticks at home. I would also recommend micro tips for salmon/trout rods and smaller. The normal size seems to be for fiberglass rods or larger, heavier casting rods. In general, if you're fixing multiple poles of different sizes and have a hot glue gun at home, then sure. Go and get this kit. Otherwise, just buy their custom replacement rails and head…
