This device is quite easy to install and connect. The difficulty lies in setting up and then testing. I installed this on a 2016 Jeep JKU. I removed a small bracket under the driver's seat to make room for the device. See photo of underside of driver's seat. After installation, the instructions describe how to test the device. You can expect the device to pull the brake pedal several inches. He will not. He will only place it about 3/4 inch. Because that's how long the booster pump has to help pull the brake pedal further. To test this you need to power the 7n1 connector that powers the pump with 12v. The pump should only turn on for about 30-45 seconds. If longer, check for leaks. Mine initially worked for over 2 minutes, then I discovered a crack in the tee. After replacement, the pump worked perfectly. After that, everything else was easy to install and wire up as instructed. Test drive it in the driveway and use it on our recent 450 mile ride. The brake control installed in the camper worked great on steep climbs.
