I have a lot of expensive cycling gear but wanted to try on a cheap pair of gloves to compare. The construction of these gloves is better than the pair of Castellis and Giros I have. On the other hand there is a lot of padding and the material is a bit thick for my taste as I prefer racing gloves. If you like thicker gloves, you'll love these. I like them for commuting as it's a short ride and I need protection in case I fall. I had gloves that saved my hands several times. The pull tabs are a bit annoying and aren't needed as the gloves have to be removed by sliding the thumb of the other hand inside the glove. However, I never feel the reeds while driving, so I didn't bother to cut them off. You are a bit small. I usually wear large ones but I had to send them back for XL.
