20 years of cycling and hundreds of thousands of pedal changes, that has never happened before. The pedal seems permanently stuck in my carbon crank. I've worn it on 3 trips with my son and now we can't take it off. I soaked it in oil etc. I have a good quality 10mm tool and the only thing that happens is I slowly pull the pedal itself off. I may have drilled it, but the bike shop wants to try. Since I have changed 2 other pedals on my bike several times in the last few months, I can only attribute this to this new pedal. It's a shame because everything else was very good. Update (two star change): One of the rivets came loose after a few more rides. I finally have a tool to take them off with a socket wrench. The threads on my connecting rods were slightly damaged but luckily saved. I sent the pedals back.
