A great umbrella when you need something that offers more protection but can be packed into a portable package. I decided to buy this as my town gets pretty windy when it rains so the smaller umbrellas got my pants completely wet. At the same time I needed something more portable as I like to carry my umbrella in my pocket when the forecast suggests it might rain. other umbrellas. This has the significant benefit of being huge and able to comfortably cover you, your personal belongings/bags and another person and their belongings. In fact, you can easily squeeze three people under it and you won't get wet if you don't have stuff. You get all that coverage and it folds down to the size of a regular small folding umbrella. But since it's so big and foldable, it's a bit windy. I often feel it move in my hands when walking in the wind and in winds over 10-15mph it will be difficult to keep it straight. I've turned it inside out 4 times so far, so I have to admit it's not the best umbrella for a windy day. However, I have to admit that I have never had an umbrella fall on my head 4 times and I still continue to work. Excellent. Without problems. Even automatic opening/closing. So it's hard. Buy this but not if your city is very windy.
