However, it's such a low, steady rumble. that it's very easy to either tune it up or hide it with other sounds. In terms of efficiency, mine draws a cup or more per day of where I have it and can run for days before the tank is full. Of course, how much water you collect per day depends to some extent on the humidity in which you operate the machine. This in turn will determine how often you need to drain the tank to keep it running continuously. I find this to be a great choice for anyone looking to reduce humidity in a specific area or to capture water from the air to use in things like plants, steam generators, car maintenance, or anything else that can hold gray water.
