Seems to be working well. Installation was relatively easy and required no soldering. Before you buy, check the hole that the switch goes in your lamp. If the hole has slightly flat sides, this plug will likely fit (the dimensions seem pretty standard). I recommend getting or borrowing a multimeter with a continuity test function. Before plugging anything into the wall, check the following: * The inner cover of the outlet must be connected to the WIDE of the two prongs on your lamp plug. *The tab on the bottom of the socket must connect to the NARROW of the two pins when the switch is in the 'on' position, otherwise it must not be connected to anything.* Nothing metallic to touch on the outside of the lamp , including the protruding metal part of the socket next to the switch, MUST NOT be connected to ANY of the two pins, period. (If you have three pins, the lamp chassis can be connected to the round one.) Be careful and enjoy the craft!
