Easy installation, affordable.
I have a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. When checking the oil, I noticed smoke coming from the dipstick and filler neck. I ordered this and the installation was easy, took about 5 minutes and requires no tools other than an 8mm socket to remove the plastic engine cover. My old PCV valve was rattling and was clogged with oil and moisture. This is a fixed-bore design apparently designed to reduce oil consumption. I recommend this as an element of preventative maintenance and as a potential solution to PCV-related issues.
