Review on Stanley Classic Trigger Action Travel Mug - 12, 16, 20 oz – Hot & Cold Thermos – Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Tumbler for Coffee, Tea, and Drinks – Stainless-Steel, BPA Free by Ghazali Dikir

The product is definitely not worth the nerves spent, it's better not to take it.

Bought to replace a Japanese zojirushi mug. On the picture. Japanese scratched in the dishwasher, and the paint gradually peeled off. And here are the main points of comparison: Japanese is MUCH easier. I don’t know how much it is in grams, but in the sensations it is very noticeable that Stanley is heavy. The Japanese one looks even smaller, but in fact it is 0.6. Stanley is 0.47. And such a decrease in volume is not only not convenient (water is usually 0.5), but this is simply not enough. Why so, I do not know. How the Japanese managed such magic is incomprehensible. The Japanese have a convenient lock and a lid that leans back, as it were, in two sittings, so that a drop of hot drink does not accidentally fall on you. Plus there's a system to keep you from burning your lips. Stanley doesn't have any of that. To summarize, the Japanese are technology and the future, and Stanley is old school, and besides, not the most successful. I do not recommend!

Pros
  • Color. The overall "monolithic" design of the product. Helped me understand that my old Japanese zojirushi mug is just super!
Cons
  • Heavy. 0.47 volume is nothing. not hygienic.
