I hate buying steering wheel tape. It seems so expensive for what you get. This band isn't the most expensive but I think it will be good value for money. It is thick with pointed edges. Thick tape on the back. For some reason the last 4 inches or so don't have any glue. I'm sure there is a reason, but it eludes me and no instructions are included. I think you can cut this part off and use it to close the brake housing clamps. If you overlap just under halfway, you still have enough tape. It's sticky, so it's difficult to deploy and recreate, but it's possible. The only downside I see is that the finish tape sucks. I had to use vinyl tape, but not critical.
