One of the best parts and components

One of my favorite bands. I've tried Fizik, Specialized Roubaix, Pro Control, Lizard Skins, Supacaz and some cheap ones in between. Zipp's CX maintenance course is at the top; easy to install, feels grippy without being too rough and looks good too. It stretches well so choosing the right thickness is easy. Pretty cheap, I like to change bar tape at the start of each outdoor season. It's like wearing shoes when you were younger, it makes you walk faster! highlighted.

As another said. It doesn't last long

I've bought a lot of these tapes but from different stores. They are cool. I have them in black for my TT bike and white for my road bike. The problem with the ones I got from this seller is that they sent me an older version of this tape. I assume they didn't keep them in perfect condition and that's why they don't last long. I bought two white office shoes, of course, and the first last was driving 10 when they suddenly started to peel off. The second takes a little longer, around 20-25…

Good cushion, I think it will last

I hate buying steering wheel tape. It seems so expensive for what you get. This band isn't the most expensive but I think it will be good value for money. It is thick with pointed edges. Thick tape on the back. For some reason the last 4 inches or so don't have any glue. I'm sure there is a reason, but it eludes me and no instructions are included. I think you can cut this part off and use it to close the brake housing clamps. If you overlap just under halfway, you still have enough tape. It's…

So far so good: Sport

First impression. I bought it a few months ago but yesterday I decided to re-tape the handlebars of my Pinarello F-10 because the original wrap that was done when I received the bike was starting to look bad. It applied easily and I was pleased with the elasticity, softness and stickiness. The steering wheel end cap fits well. I think it looks great. If it stays in place and wears well I will continue to use this tape. The bike arrived with a lizard skin strap that only lasted six months and…

Grippy and Comfortable

For the first time with this volume. I've tried them all, more than 40 years of riding. Pretty easy. Slightly stretchy, long enough. Without adhesive base (gel). A grippy feel, you can go without gloves if you wish. Feels like Lizard Skin DSP but not as harsh. No sticky backing means you can peel it off and start over without tearing the tape. I wonder why this tape is not among the best bar tapes. Also good value for money. I used this tape on my fairly new Trek 2021 Domane+ LT. Replace…

My new favorite band. on Sports

Bought a second set for a different bike after liking the first set so much. I prefer a thicker shaft with good cushioning so this band was perfect. The length of tape really depends on how tightly you wrap it and how much overlap you use. I accidentally used a smaller pad on a 34cm bike and the tape came much closer to the stem than on a 32cm bike. If you like a really thick film that goes all the way to the stem then the tape might not be enough, but it should be enough for 99.9% of the other

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I used the original tape that came with the S-Works bike, Cinelli cork tape and Planet Bike. it is very easy to adjust the thickness by slightly stretching or loosening the band. I like that there are no additional logos on it. The old tape just got too thick to hold in some places and became slippery when wet with water and sweat. So how does it make me faster? Because of the amazing grip and textured feel, I can switch between the drop and bar much easier, I can hold the bar with less grip…
