This is a jewelery loop, nothing more. It is great? no It works out? Yes. It's not a triplet (but I don't remember if it said so in the description) and NOT a 30x loop. I bought a 10x loop a week before and decided I needed a little more magnification. When this loop appeared, it didn't appear to be enlarged any more than my first loop. Comparing the two side by side I saw that they both had the same magnification. This has a plastic lens held by a metal body. The handle/lid piece is held in place by two screws at the front and back, which I like. If it loosens a bit, just tighten the Phillips head screw. It was so cheap I won't be returning it and I will have a backup. I ordered 30x and received 10x. That's the truth in advertising.
