This router gave me the biggest headache. I bought it only to find that the router was either defective or just poorly designed. The router worked for several hours, but then stopped working. The Wi-Fi signal stopped working and no other connection could be made. However, if I plug an ethernet cable directly into the back of the modem, I still have an internet connection. So that meant the router was problematic. As a result, I would have to constantly reboot the router every few hours. The processing time varies between 4 and 24 hours. I couldn't always turn it off because that's what I need to always do the right thing. I read more about this on google and it seems like a lot of people have this problem. There were recommendations to update to the latest firmware and reset everything to default before setting it up, but nothing has changed. Great router as long as it doesn't overheat. It seemed to have the necessary basic router requirements. The control settings were very intuitive and simple, anyone could use them. It also comes with ASUS' proprietary dynamic DNS that allows external access from the WAN. I want this to work properly because I think it would be a great router for the price.
