I had a Sears mower that had sat for over 10 years, the carburetor was all coked up. I bought this to replace it. I was a bit reluctant to buy a non-OEM carburetor but for the price I decided to give it a try. I installed the carburetor, poured gasoline into the tank, squeezed the primer three times and it ignited with one pull. I was surprised. As long as it holds up well. My only comment is that the rubber material used for the primer is much stiffer than stock and you don't feel the gas pumping like you would with an old carburetor.
