Bought this watch and it stopped working. So I sent it back as it was under warranty and Motorola replaced it. So far, so good. A year later it started raining while cycling. I told my wife that the watch is waterproof. When I got home I noticed that it stopped working. I checked the Amazon website where it was advertised and it claims to be water resistant to 3 feet. So I called the company back. I couldn't find the serial number on the back until I held it up to the iPhone flashlight. At first they told me they would rate it, but later the 'supervisor' said they couldn't rate it as it was not under warranty. Then they said that if there is liquid damage, nothing can be done. Last time I checked, water is a liquid. However, the foreign call center wanted nothing to do with this. They then said that the watch was not water resistant and that I should check the website for recommendations. I told them I don't swim in the sea but the watch should be able to withstand a little rain. I don't think it would be too much to ask for the watch to keep running after it rains as it is advertised as being water resistant to 3 feet. They rowed back to the call center in the Philippines! After all, they said they don't make these watches, but I doubt that's true.
