If you're a mechanic dealing with horribly swollen nuts on many Ford and Chrysler vehicles, you basically have two choices: hammer in the right size head and trouble the remove nut after you have taken it out or you can buy them. After trying the first option a couple of times, you will immediately understand the need for this tool. I've seen pictures here of the glitch some people have experienced, but I haven't encountered any problems myself. I have to say these are VERY thin wall sockets. They are specifically designed this way for better access. This makes them weaker in design and there's no other option but a thick socket that may not fit on every wheel. This is a great compromise in my opinion as you don't need this kit for every wheelset you use. It's more of a tool for occasional use to save yourself in a sticky situation than a socket you want to hammer into every day.
