Review on Uniden D1660 DECT 6.0 📞 Cordless Handset with Caller ID Enhancement by Julie Brown

I can finally get rid of this junk! I would gladly return it for a phone that works better. The on-screen clock went through a 24-hour period in about 9 hours, so it was always wrong. Also, the voice that tells you when a person is calling always reads out a crazy impossible time, like 3am last week when they called this afternoon! We used to use it without an answering machine and never used the watch. Then one day, about a year after we started using it, I noticed that the watch had improved! Now the time and date on the screen is always correct. However, voice reading is still flawed. Now it only reports the current time, not the call time. Very annoying. We have a wired base and 3 wireless extenders and the extender batteries burn out pretty quickly. We currently have a wired base and a power strip that can be unplugged from the charger for about 5 minutes before dying. We bought it before it got mostly bad reviews. We also didn't have the time or energy to return it and find a replacement that had good reviews. It doesn't look like there are many good options.
