Update: TCL has responded and I appreciate it. However, I have already tried to reach them and have not been able to get through. I received help via email for another issue that they resolved via email. I contacted them later by phone and unfortunately this advice did not solve the problem. I'm not getting notifications from three very important apps and I have to return the phone because of this. I can handle the quirks, but one of the main functions of a smartphone is to receive notifications. I like the price and I think paying 1k or 800 for a phone is unrealistic for me. I appreciate TCL's efforts, but this phone is down because of the notification issue. Unfortunately I am initiating a refund. Battery life: 5 stars Display: 5 stars for a budget device Functionality: 3 stars it turns off in the middle of using the app and it doesn't work well on startup when the grinder works the same as printing from the phone. Note: 3 is very uneven and inconsistent. This is the biggest problem and why I am returning it. If I can't get notifications all the time, there's no point in having a phone. I wish LG was still in this market. But since they aren't, I'll probably have to go for the Samsung.
