A while ago I came to the conclusion that Canon OEM cartridges are the way to go! I've tried several generic cartridges and have had great success with them before, but over time it became wasteful. I bought several usable cartridges of each color and in the pack I bought there were always several non-working cartridges and I had to throw away full ink cartridges. I decided that it is better to take standard cartridges, although they are more expensive than combat cartridges. I have a couple of OEM cartridges that didn't work before and I know I can contact Canon customer service who will send me a new replacement. Yes, I'll have to wait for it to come, but at least I haven't lost any money on it! Canon stands by their products and they will replace something if it doesn't work. I don't print as much anymore so OEM cartridges last longer. I prefer Canon OEM combat models!
