Great Toner/Terrible Packaging

I have placed 27 orders in the last 6 months and this is the first time the packaging has been seriously damaged. The ammo box was crushed and the ammo fell into the bubble bag container. The cartridges look ok but had to tape their box to keep them together. A box next time, please.

expensive, but works well

I actually wanted to put 3.5 stars instead of 4. Why? Because while the ink from this pack works well in my MX870 Pixma Canon printer, I find it quite expensive AND it doesn't come with a larger black cartridge. And since I live in a very rural area, the only place I can carry ink for my printer is in the $58 black and tri-color ink tanks. I spent way too much money on ink last month only to have to replace all 5 tanks. The ink itself is good, easy to replace, but quite expensive, and theโ€ฆ

This is where Canon makes all its money. No printer, but very expensive cartridges. I haven't found them cheaper but it has free shipping and I don't have to find out which ones are compatible every time - I just order again. The two reasons I give 3 stars are 1) the price and 2) they don't last very long in the printer (the ink runs out pretty quickly). But we really don't have a choice, do we (?), we have to buy them to make our printers work. Kind of stuck. But the ink seems to be of goodโ€ฆ

An easy way to get the ink I need instead of a series of impulse buys!

This is the ink my printer needs and it's often better than or at the same price as the shops around the corner. I've bought ink online many times. I also feel like I save money and time because I don't have to drive to the store with my gas and waste my time buying ink from the big store down the street. Also, when I go to these stores, I almost always "impulsively buy" other things that I don't really need. Oops! That's just one of the reasons I buy a lot online. I spend my hard earned moneyโ€ฆ

So controversial inkjet ink

On the one hand, this Canon OEM ink is much better than its non-OEM competition. I've had more than my fair share of third-party cartridges that didn't meet my standards (ink leaking from their canisters, poor quality photo printing, odd colors, etc.). This is generally true of all OEM inks - they typically have a higher level of quality control than third-party inks. On the other hand, such OEM inks are very expensive. I'm actually considering just buying another printer, but of course theโ€ฆ

I love Canon OEM cartridges

A while ago I came to the conclusion that Canon OEM cartridges are the way to go! I've tried several generic cartridges and have had great success with them before, but over time it became wasteful. I bought several usable cartridges of each color and in the pack I bought there were always several non-working cartridges and I had to throw away full ink cartridges. I decided that it is better to take standard cartridges, although they are more expensive than combat cartridges. I have a couple of

  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Long wait

I would like to clarify something that seems to have been said about this product with low reviews: These are genuine Canon OEM inks and NOT counterfeit refilled cartridges or regular cartridges. That's the real deal. I just received my package and actually canceled my order once due to bad reviews. I've noticed that some people just aren't that smart and either order the wrong ink for their product or consider the wrong supplier/wrong product. The ink comes in a genuine Canon OEM box, theโ€ฆ

Best color ink set for Canon PIXMA MX870

We use a set of these inks every two months with a lot of printing in between. We get about 15 cents per page with this color ink set (depending on how often and how many pages we print at the same time, we get a range of 10 to 20 cents per page). The more pages we print at the same time, the more economical the printer/cartridge is. I like that the cartridge has a transparent body. It's easy to check, if your printer says it's out of ink, you can check the cartridge. Fortunately, when theโ€ฆ

  • Poor set

I have used Canon inks for many years and I am fair with them. Firstly, when used with Canon paper (glossy but not Super Premium) it dries relatively quickly. 5x7 dries in 40 minutes and can be placed behind glass after about 8 hours just to be safe. But best of all, I haven't noticed any fading or parting lines between colors yet. I have a show in two weeks. It is imperative that the colors are correct and I simply wouldn't use any ink other than the one that comes with THIS Canon. You'll save
