Review on 🎥 Monoprice 108146 5X1 HDMI Converter Switch with Audio - HDMI DVI with Toslink + Coaxial + R/L Stereo Audio - Ultimate Audio-Video Solution by Peter Mendoza

The two HDMI inputs appear to switch normally, but the component inputs produce a very unusual Morira pattern. Inputs and colors double checked. seemed correct; but only a very conspicuous pattern. An older TiVo was used as input. I have a separate component and S/PDIF digital audio to HDMI converter from Monoprice that does the same conversion with no problem and I actually have it through the HDMI switch input of a 5X1 HDMI converter and even then tested over the HDbaseT distribution system, and it worked fine. Somehow the inner workings of this converter are quite different from the standalone component to HDMI converter. I didn't need anything special with EDID management for this app, but I will have to return it. Monoprice was very accommodating and provided a prepaid return label for the device.
