After slipping and sliding down my hardwood stairs one too many times, I decided to give these Extra-Grip Cotton Stair Treads a shot. The sisal design looks great with my decor and the maroon color adds a pop of color to my otherwise neutral staircase. The double adhesive tape holds them securely in place and they were easy to install - no need to hire a handyman. Unfortunately, while they do provide some extra grip, I still find myself slipping a bit when wearing socks. Overall, they're a decent option for preventing slips and falls, just be sure to wear shoes or invest in some anti-slip socks.
