I had a good use case for this product. I bought a pre-built PC and the power supply failed during the warranty period. I decided to return the computer instead of replacing the power supply and I didn't want to return it with my personal data on the m2 nvme drive and since my other one couldn't read from the m2 I had to find another solution. This allowed me to remove and erase the NVME storage before returning the computer. It works pretty well and I think I'll get some additional use out of it one day.
