It seems that many companies make or sell similar versions of this lighting set. Nights from Night Provision feel like updates for two reasons. 1) They use a large "bubble" lens and 2) they have a COB LED and matching reflector (inside). Overall quality seems good. They are lightweight and can be installed in a variety of ways. You can "double" and install both in the front, as the rear light also has a white light mode, which is pretty bright. The rear red flashing light is also clearly visible off-axis (approx. 30 degrees to the side). *** Important: Night Provision actually has US based staff available to answer support questions! The rear light has a different clip shape. I thought it was a defect but support told me to mount it on a vertical seatpost, not on a horizontal handlebar like a front light. They were very helpful. Finally, there seems to be an interesting feature on the headlight that wasn't mentioned in the instructions. For front (white only) light: Holding the power button down slowly dims the light from full brightness to all off. When you release the button, the brightness you selected is retained. Returning to full power is easy, just turn it off and on again. You need to double click to get the "SOS" flash on the front/white light. For the price they seem like a great product given the batteries will last for several years. I just bought them so I don't know how long they will last.
