Wrong kit for my car. I called Ford to find out what month my car was manufactured. The 1999 Escort had a part number change mid-year. I even contacted Gates and called the Vins. number in your parts finder. I needed to speak to someone from Gates. I gave them my wine. number and they went to the Ford website and said my car was made in Mexico and that's why their computer gave me the wrong part. Sounds like BS to me. bottom line; If your top pulley is 60mm in diameter, order a new model kit. If your top pulley is 70mm in diameter, order an older model kit. Now I have to order the pulley myself. Everything else is the same for both sets.
