This kit worked for the most part on my 1998 ZX-2. One pulley didn't work, it was the top idler pulley. Tensioner and lower roller worked. The top tensioner in the kit had the wrong thread on the bolt and the bolt was a smaller diameter. I suspect the pulley could be reamed for my larger bolt, but I had timing issues and used an old top idler pulley. I believe the smaller lower idler pulley is the defective pulley, so no damage.
