I read a few reviews on it warning it was prone to leaks and thought oh I'll just screw it on. Problem solved". If you don't screw it in until your wrist fails you (and sometimes even then), it will leak. It doesn't matter if you plan to keep it upright. Definitely puts me off to use it as I intended (by throwing it in my bag). The rest is excellent. Good price and keeps a constant temperature for a really long time. It probably contains questionable metals, but whatever it is, er never said it wasn't and they don't smell.
