Review on High-Quality Keyless Entry Remote Fob KARR ELVATH5H (FCC ID) by Donald Phillips

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great on a 2001 Honda CR-V LX with Karr Alarm, extended range over stock fob!

What I love most is being able to lock/unlock the car from about 40ft away instead of having to be right next to the car! Programming was a breeze for our 2001 Honda CR-V LX with the Karr Alarm installed. This is a one button arm/disarm type and below are the programming instructions I found. Hope this helps someone else who wants to get extra key fobs because ours is definitely outdated and might break down. Please note that our original fobs were a one button arm/disarm type, the new fob although it has separate lock/unlock buttons, behaves as if either the lock/unlock button is armed/disarmed . Also, they don't work for our car, although they have to program the trunk and panic buttons as part of the procedure. Absolutely no concern for us, and it's actually a limitation of the Karr alarm system installed in our vehicle, afaik. KARR ELVAT5H Programming Guide To add additional remote controls to your system: 1. Get into the vehicle and turn the ignition on.2. Press the valet button three times. The LED will flash once and the siren or horn will sound once.3. Press and hold the arm/disarm button for three seconds (if using a cloned remote, press LOCK or UNLOCK instead of arm/disarm).4. Press the valet button once. The LED will flash twice and the siren or horn will sound twice.5. Press and hold the TRUNK button for three seconds.6. Press the valet button once. The LED will flash 3 times and the siren or horn will beep 3 times.7. Press and hold the panic button for three seconds.8. TURN vehicle OFF.
