I had high hopes of replacing the single egg poacher I've used since I was a child. But it's such a bad design, I will return it. The lid doesn't fit well, so the steam needed to evenly cook an egg constantly escapes around it no matter how you adjust it. Because of this, the bottom is done while the top is still wobbling, so by the time the top is properly cooked your egg will be overcooked. Also, the bottom of the egg rack is rounded instead of flat, so you can only put an egg in it while it's in the pot, otherwise it will tip over and throw the egg out. What a disappointment with this product! i will return it
