Grandma's Egg in Cup

When I was little, my grandmother used to cook one of my favorite breakfast dishes in the same little pan. While I cannot put into words the love and care she put into her egg in a cup, this little frying pan brought back great morning joy and very fond memories. Thanks for that! Pros
  • There's something to it

  • Sad Device

I use an oil spray but the oil settles to the bottom quickly and the egg sticks to the edges so use a spatula around the edges and on the sides. The handles of both the poacher and the egg cup get very hot, so use an oven mitt, the oven mitt is too bulky and inconvenient to use. The handle of the egg…
