Failed to load media. I bought four of these Can-Do clamps to assemble bee colony boxes. The maximum thickness of continuous material on them is 1 and 3/4 inch. The maximum thickness of a flat miter joint or T-joint is 2 and 3/4 inches. . The clamp body is nice and heavy, made of painted aluminum. The threads are of good quality, the yoke holds very tight with very good grip on the shaft. The corners are OPEN, allowing glue to drip onto the joint without damaging the terminal. you also have free access to the terminals for screwing or drilling corners without the clamp getting in the way. You can mount it on a bench or wall, or use it to lay a butt if you attach a 90 degree angle. at once as shown in the video and clamp them at opposite 90 degree angles, this makes all angles true 90 degrees. They work exactly as I expected. I expect these clips to last a VERY long time without wearing out. I recommend them without hesitation or reservations. As for the inconvenience of the sliding T-handle for adjustment, I only get a good feel for it within a few inches of the shaft I want to clamp, then just slide it open and finish the draw.
