Thin thread to internal thread of antique lamp
High quality brass finish. It looks like it's actually brass plated and not just brass plated. After removing the outer threaded ring, the inner thin filament fitted my 150 year old Hurricane lamp base perfectly. I'm having trouble finding the right topics. The burners of some other lamps had the same diameter but not the threads required for my lamp. The mechanism works smoothly to raise or lower the wick. The wick itself is long enough to last a while, but not as long as I recall from years past. All in all it is an excellent replacement for lost or damaged lamp burners with fine thread internal fittings.
