I've used this tape to hem heavy 96" curtains. I have to admit I left the tape on the counter for a few days fearing it wouldn't work very well, but to my surprise it worked perfectly and I didn't have to pull the iron. or even ask someone for help. I made a total of 6 curtain panels and used 2 rolls of tape. The material is very sticky, but the first curtain I made when I removed the backing from the tape also started lifting, so I learned to rub the backing quickly and press down firmly to make sure it sticks before you remove your backing. I simply used the handles of the scissors and rubbed them back and forth until I felt the sticky side had time to stick to my fabric. I will be ordering more of this volume to have on hand!
