Like super glue! - Craft supplies

I would not recommend this for hemming. It's so sticky it reminds me of super glue. Has attacked fingers and will not wash off. Will likely damage the fabric as it cannot be removed if it touches the wrong area. I wouldn't risk washing with other clothes. The only good thing about it was when I used a very small piece on a bodice that was buttoned too low. This provided a permanent closure where I could still pull the top over my head.

Pros
  • Great for hemming and home decor
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Definitely Sticky Enough

For hemming over long swimsuit sleeves. It worked very well and is more than sticky enough to hold fabric. One problem I had was that in my life I couldn't stick my fingernail in to peel off the backing paper. I had to ask my roommate to help me and it took her a while too. If you use it, you might want to have a buddy to help you lay out the fabric and stick the tape where you want it. It's VERY sticky and can easily get stuck where you don't go or stick to itself if you're not careful. But am

MARVELOUS! No ironing needed, and if I can do it, anyone can :)

I've used this tape to hem heavy 96" curtains. I have to admit I left the tape on the counter for a few days fearing it wouldn't work very well, but to my surprise it worked perfectly and I didn't have to pull the iron. or even ask someone for help. I made a total of 6 curtain panels and used 2 rolls of tape. The material is very sticky, but the first curtain I made when I removed the backing from the tape also started lifting, so I learned to rub the backing quickly and press down firmly to…

Pros
  • Permanent, instant tack, adhesive, double-sided adhesive
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Precautionary Statement

I had high hopes for this product! I have been using ironing tape very successfully for many years and thought it could be even better. I only wish I had taken photos! what a mess! The tape is so tacky that hemming the dress's flowing hemline was a real challenge. As one reviewer said, it's like crazy glue. Sticks to my fingers much better than to fabric. I hung up on them though and managed to get it done after a few hours. Then, a few days later, the real problem surfaced. I washed the hemmed

Pros
  • Fabric Fuse is a washable double-sided adhesive specially formulated for fabric
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
