These reels work well with the 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic with 5.3 Vortex Flex Fuel. The truck runs smoothly. I replaced coils, spark plug wires, injectors and two AC Delco platinum spark plugs (#2 and #7) that were less than a year old and burned out (maybe they had bad coils or bad injectors) causing code P0300 . (backfire). I swapped out all of those parts for peace of mind and like I said the truck runs just like a new truck. Coils are a good substitute. I think they should be cheaper as they are not OEM replacements. Auto parts seem expensive these days, just like new cars. So let's cheer for the old Chevy truck!
