Smonet is offering a $50 gift certificate as the lock cannot be used on my front door as it is not weatherproof. My new lock, like the old one, doesn't work when it's raining outside. I even put a plastic cover on it but to no avail. When it's humid outside, you can forget to come inside. There's nothing like getting soaked to the skin in an hour trying to break into your house. Someone explain me how to contact the company to find out what to do with that padlock locking you in the rain! To update! My new lock has arrived and works great. A week with a broken lock and only two fixed keys was stressful! With that in mind, you can't just go to the hardware store and make keys, you have to have a locksmith make them, so be careful. As for the company, yes, they sent me a new padlock, but they need a better communication method, such as email. B. a phone number to be able to call them instead of going through Revain. I contacted the company and was informed that a new lock is on the way. I will update my review when I get a new lock. I hope my first one was just flawed and the new one turns out great! That worked very well for the first month. Then when I changed the batteries in it, not so much. The ring around the fingerprint reader keeps spinning, glows blue, and doesn't read fingerprints. After unsuccessful attempts to solve the problem and search on google, I contacted the support team. I still haven't received a response from customer service so 11 hours later I have a very expensive door knob. Due to the lack of customer support other than an email address and no reply I would say stay away from this product.
