ASUS should not advertise this board as Zen 3/5000 series ready. The BIOS that came with my board was dated 7/2020 - a few months before Zen 3 launched. So when I tried to boot my new build from the 5600X, nothing got past the BIOS splash screen. To my knowledge the only workaround for such a board is to use an earlier AM4 processor to boot Windows, update the BIOS from there, remove the old processor and reinstall the Zen 3 chip. that you have a different AM4 processor from the previous generation. If not, are you unlucky? I give the board two stars because it works fine after the BIOS update. I got lucky and ended up with an old AM4 processor that allowed me to update the BIOS. ASUS either has to update the firmware on them before they leave the factory or stop selling them as ready for the Zen 3/5000 series.
