I'm glad many came boxed, I have a magnetic mount on the dash but I lost the magnets that came with it. I found these and decided to try them out. I put them in the phone case so as not to spoil the look of the phone. They are thin enough not to interfere with how my case sits on my phone. Serves its purpose but doesn't hold up well. It's not the strongest magnet, but I also consider the thickness of my phone's case and the fact that I placed it inside the case rather than outside where it can make direct contact with the dash mount. I'm pretty sure the phone would hold up better if I placed them outside. In general, I am satisfied with the quality, variety of shapes and quantity of these magnets!
