I ordered this gown for a Hamilton event. While it looked great in photo reviews, I had very little expectations. I have purchased costumes before and they arrive with unusually textured fabrics that often times come across as cheap velvet. This was not the case. The dress arrived very well packaged and ready to wear. I made the mistake Of ordering a dress that was too large. Even with the dress being too large, it was absolutely stunning. I decided to return the dress and try to order my actual size. The return went very smoothly and the new dress was shipped out immediately. It arrived as expected and it blew me away. There is absolutely no greater value on Walmart. I also Purchased the pads to go on your hips underneath the dress. Without them the dress while still beautiful, fell flat at my waist. The hip pads give the dress the needed flair to pull off the style of the period.
