This is a beautiful dress! I attended a theme wedding titled modern medieval. I went as a lady dressed in 1700-1800 dress. I purchased a hoop for underneath. The dress is very long, having the hoop helped as I am 4’11. Be very careful there is a hidden plastic side zipper. Mine broke and I had to sew it up and was lucky I could still get it over my chest area as I am well endowed. Other than, it’s beautiful. I had so many compliments and was told that my dress stole the day!

I ordered this gown for a Hamilton event. While it looked great in photo reviews, I had very little expectations. For my history major college teen, this was an extra value because it fit, arrived on time for a surprise History class costume assignment and looks historically accurate! Well made, this costume suited her "Outlander” fan style, the correct period for the assignment and with a side zipper (brilliant!) she can dress herself - it’s not a costume she needs 3 people to help her get into.

It was very long (I’m 5’6”and wear an 8/10 dress) and it needed to be hemmed. I bought a hoop slip to wear under the dress and ended up pulling out about 3 metal hoops to make it easier to walk around. I cut away the lower level of lace on the sleeves and liked the look more. There were many compliments about this dress. It was not hot and was comfortable and true to size.

The dress is well made and absolutely perfect. I bought a hoop skirt to go underneath and it looks even better. Could not be happier with it! Only negative I have is that coming out of the packaging it did smell odd but nothing some spray can't fix.

Couldn't decide between a large or medium. I think the medium would have fit everywhere except my rib cage area. Overall it fits well. It's comfortable. Waiting on the hoop skirt, hat and choker to make it complete. For reference I'm 5'10, 157lbs and ordered a large.

The costume has no stretch but the zipper on the side made it easy to put on and remove! The size is very true to clothing sizes. I won for best costume! I am absolutely adding this costume into my costume closet for future events.

I found this was a little snug in the shoulders and bodice and wish I had ordered a size up. The dress is beautiful and quite long as I am only 5'4" and I ordered a large. I bought a hoop skirt to go under it. I am using it as a Southern Belle costume rather than Marie Antoinette. It is victorian and civil war worthy as well. Using a lace parasol, fan, and white lace gloves with it. Hope it works.

This is really nice dress and I wish I had ordered the correct size. I had ordered a size XXL which was way too large, but since the XL was not available with Prime shipping I ordered a size L which I could not zip up. It has a side zipper which is fine if I had the correct size. When I searched for a southern belle dress it came up in my search. It’s beautiful and well made but it was way to longhorn me and will be expensive to hem for my budget.

I'm 5'6 and 187 pounds and I bought an XL . It's exactly as expected. Arms are not too tight, but the fabric has no give at all . Still not bad. One picture is straight out the package, one is without my bustle and one with. Over all I'm very happy with my purchase.

My 11 year old daughter wanted to be Marie Antoinette for Halloween. This dress was perfect. We bought the wig, dress, petticoat, and bloody choker all on amazon. My daughter is around 5’ 4”. She could wear a medium in dress but it was a tad fitted around the shoulders/back. So we went with the Large.

Dress came quickly! It was long but we did not send measurements and expected to have to do a little hemming. Overall it was a beautiful dress!

The quality is decent. It does not have a zipper or buttons for closure so it is kinda hard to get on and off over the head. I would suggest to order a little larger for that reason. It definitely needs the hoop skirt under it. The skirt is very full and long.

Purchased for a size large my daughter. She is 5'8" and roughly 175 pounds. She has a very ample bosom. (just for size comparison) It looks great on her and we are very satisfied.
