These clamps arrived used in the box as if they had just been taken off the desk. They were advertised as new but were clearly used. On some of them the old barcode is worn out; They had cuts, scrapes and handles from someone who had used them before. The product description says the collapse is 3 inches open. It's just not true. The end of the clamps opened 2 1/2 inches. The grip portion of the clamp was only 2 1/4 inches apart. Very disappointed with the clips and accommodations.
