The NightFox Swift has a lot going for it in this price range. My only two complaints: 1. The built-in backlight LEDs are 850 nanometers instead of 940 nanometers, so they visually give away your presence to the naked eye. My solution is to just not use the NightFox illuminator and use the 940nm illuminator on my other devices. However, #2 is my biggest complaint. I added some extra dough to the back of my helmet, thinking I could connect to NightFox and extend its runtime, but I didn't. As soon as I connect an external battery, NightFox turns off and goes into "charging" mode. While these two issues are my only downside, I think it offers excellent value for money compared to alternatives. When listening to NightFox, simply switch the backlight LEDs to 940nm and the ability to connect external batteries while the unit is running makes your product unbeatable on the market.
