I've been eyeing this model for a while and found it heavily discounted on Prime Day (I signed up for Prime to get this deal). The packaging was very nice and safe. Also included were 3 cables, a power adapter (the size of a cellphone), a foldable carrying case/stand for carrying, and even a screen protector. You have to apply the screen protector yourself, but it was nice that one was included. The monitor itself is very thin and easily fits in my laptop bag. I don't even need to carry a power bank as the screen turns on via my PC's USB-C port. Very convenient! The screen is as bright as my new Dell (Inspiron) laptop screen. I ran some dead or stuck pixel tests found on YouTube, which passed with no issues. The controls include a multi-function rocker and a push button switch, which can be used to move the screen, e.g. B. the brightness, can be easily adjusted. The built-in speakers aren't bad, but not as good as my 17-inch laptop. If you have a very compact laptop, the speakers in KYY might be even better. The included headphone jack is welcome, although most laptops still have one. If you have a newer Samsung phone, this is important to know. very good. My main use is productivity. Having just one more screen to open a web browser or Office document works wonders to get the job done. You can't plug in a full-size HDMI connector, that's the only downside, but understandable given the thin frame. Just use the included HDMI to Mini to HDMI cable. I will update this review as needed in the future and I hope I don't have to use the 12 month guarantee. So far this has been a great purchase for my needs. UPDATED October 7th, 2021 After months of use and disappointment with a major flaw, I have decided to go back and update my original review. I bought this unit to take with me on trips, which means I pack and pack it in my computer case quite often. I think this is a normal use case for something called "Portable Monitor". I find the screen to be quite dim, but that's not the source of my frustration, as increasing the brightness usually makes it useable. The problem is that every time you turn off the power (e.g. every time you pack), the monitor loses all of its settings. This means that you have to adjust settings (e.g. brightness) every time you adjust them. A monitor sold as "portable" should retain all of its settings when unplugged from the power source. UPDATE NOVEMBER 6, 2021============================================= ================================================== ================================================== ================================================== ================================================== ===== KYY customer service contacted me and is really top notch! Thank you KYY If you want to be sure that the device remembers your settings when it is switched off, pay attention to the KYY K3-1 model.
