You get what you'll pay for. These are not comfortable and rub at the heel. I originally bought these to walk around amusement parks all day. They are so stiff in the heels (it feels like thick, corrugated cardboard inside), that we ended up buying a different pair. These are now the designated "junk-shoes" for doing yardwork in.UPDATE 8/24/19: Customer service reached out to offer a full refund or to replace the pair, which was nice and thoughtful. Easy communication.
