Mitsubishi Gallant 2009
In 2009 Mitsubishi Gallant worked well. There is room for a filter in the car, but to install the filter I had to use a utility knife to cut out a plastic indentation for the hole. I used some painters tape to secure the original plastic cut out area in front of the filter to keep air from escaping. It catches dirt from the outside, so it works well. The filter was changed for the second time (the car is not that long ago). I'm not a mechanic so what I said is probably terrible advice and completely wrong, but it works for me. YMMV
