Very good replacement filter!

A very good replacement charcoal based cabin filter that provides fresher air. I just WISH it was NOT made in China, but it is! I wish it was listed as I'm sure it could easily be done in the US, maybe even better and for less money. Other than that, it was very easy to install in my Toyota (made in America) and ran for a year with very little air quality change due to saturated carbon. This is my second replacement for the same filter from the same company and I highly recommend it!

Mitsubishi Gallant 2009

In 2009 Mitsubishi Gallant worked well. There is room for a filter in the car, but to install the filter I had to use a utility knife to cut out a plastic indentation for the hole. I used some painters tape to secure the original plastic cut out area in front of the filter to keep air from escaping. It catches dirt from the outside, so it works well. The filter was changed for the second time (the car is not that long ago). I'm not a mechanic so what I said is probably terrible advice andโ€ฆ

Works as expected - filter

Installed this air filter about 2 months ago. Cabin air filters are incredibly easy to change and are usually located behind the glove box. You probably only need a screwdriver. I removed one screw. The filter itself: I looked for a charcoal cabin filter when looking for a cabin filter, I've never used a charcoal filter before, but I'm pretty sure this filter isn't one. It's slightly gray in the picture, it's not slightly gray - it's paper white. However, it filters the air. I have noโ€ฆ

Let's start by saying that I have no idea about any car tricks. I went to the local auto shop for an MOT and my car had a number of issues including the cabin air filter. They removed the cabin filter and it was very dirty and they told me to change it immediately. They said a replacement would cost about $50. So I looked it up on youtube how to change this myself and found that it's very easy to do it yourself. So I decided to do it myself and bought this product. Buying car parts on Amazonโ€ฆ

Buy this awesome filter and do it ALL YOURSELF!

I bought this filter because it fit my 2005 Toyota Sienna and it had great reviews. After I Googled "why is my car's air conditioner making a loud squeaking noise?" One of the links that popped up was a YouTube video on how to change the cabin air filter. I couldn't get my glove box out for the rest of my life, so I gave up. However, my A/C was producing so little air that when my car broke down and had to be towed to Pep Boys, I asked her about it and in a second the mechanic pulled out theโ€ฆ
