This thing is not small. About the diameter of a soup bowl. It's probably in the description somewhere, I just missed it. It doesn't really matter to me and great if you want to read it across the room for example, just knowing what you're getting into. Minute marker, and then turn it back to the desired time. Depending on your usage, this may not be a problem, but it will take a little longer to use. I sometimes have trouble keeping track of time, so when an urgent task comes up, I want to immediately set a timer to remind me. Turning the knob 55 and then back is a little extra friction for me. Not enough to stop using it, but I can try and find something else. This would be a great classroom timer as it is easily visible even from across the room. If this is your use case, I would recommend it.
