Review on 🔋 High-Capacity 14.4V Dewalt Battery Set: 2-Pack 3.0Ah Ni-Mh Replacement for DW9094, XRP DC9091 by Ryan Williams

The two latches on both Vanon battery packs that I received do not fully retract to release the packs from my DeWalt 14.4V XRP DC983 cordless drill to solve. Unable to remove the bag from the drill bit, with the drill bit secured in a vise, I attached the Vanon bag using small pieces of wood that protected both latches and replaced the pin. Using the vise was not enough to loosen the battery. A flathead screwdriver wrenched the drill away from the battery still in the vise. The three photos show the original packaging of the DC9091, initially with the closure open. You can see the glow of the black fang coming out from under the yellow bar. Second image: The DC9091's latches are pressed together and the latch is fully retracted under the yellow tab. Third, a photo of one of the Vanon packs with the latch compressed but the latch not fully retracting under the black bar. I sent these batteries back.
