This is a really excellent microphone. Not only because of the cost, but also because of the size. I play alto and tenor saxophones a lot and this mic has been the best mic investment I've ever made. The sound quality is crystal clear and once you've found the perfect spot for your instrument, it covers all ranges and all volumes fantastically. I highly recommend this microphone. So there is just one very small thing. At the end of the mic cable is a modular thing that drags across the floor unless you stop it. I personally just tie it to a belt so it doesn't touch the ground and it doesn't bother me, but it might bother others. Also note that this microphone requires phantom power.
