We enjoy doing a lot of free-form embroidery at our house, so we are not tied to specific color numbers for patterns etc. This kit appealed to me because it includes so many subdued colors in gradients, more so than other kits which include only the brightest colors. It also helps replenish a lot of our depleted embroidery supplies.I really like the generous amount of embroidery needles included, as these are easily lost. They actually have gold (brass?) eyes. The Aida cloth will come in handy for teaching my daughters how to cross stitch.And the hoops will keep us in projects for quite a while! Good value for the price.
